Boston International, in partnership with DartBoston, is excited to host an evening of “Pokin’ Holes” at the Bain Conference room on the evening of April 22nd. This promises to be a highly-interactive and engaging event that will focus on the startup company Sanergy, as they present on their internationally-focused business plan and receive live feedback from a panel of their peers and the audience. About Sanergy

Sanergy provides sanitation services in the slums of Nairobi, where 81% of residents have no access to clean, private, and safe toilets. Sanergy collects the waste and, at a centralized facility, converts the waste into biogas and fertilizer. The biogas is sold to the grid and the fertilizer to local farmers. Sanergy addresses three critical issues – inadequate sanitation, a shortage of energy, and a lack of fertilizer – by creating a sustainable sanitation cycle. Through each action, Sanergy creates jobs, opportunity, and profit, while simultaneously addressing grave social challenges.

DartBoston is a community of entrepreneurs, professionals and students under 30, helping one another start their businesses. We host a weekly podcast, Pokin’ Holes which lets new start-ups solicit constructive feedback from our community. Each show is followed by a wrap party where we drink a few cocktails and continue the Pokin’ Holes conversation.
